We are a community of 104 homes started in 2005 and located in Sammamish, WA. Illahee is surrounded by beautiful green and wetlands.

"Illahee" is a word from the Chinook language and means Earth or Place. Chinook was a trade language widely used in the Northwest prior to statehood.

Teens Harassing Neighbors

 

 
Dear Illahee Neighbors,

Several of our neighborhood tween or teen boys have been harassing neighbors.

If you are a victim of harassment, please call Sammamish police at 425-295-0770.
A police case file has been opened, number 15-146898

Activity has included:  Insulting neighbors with race- and gender-related epithets, taunting neighbors that they can't do anything to stop this harassment, repeatedly ringing doorbells & running away, kicking and banging on a front door as if to break it down, and attempted arson of a wood play structure in our Illahee neighborhood park.

    Hello Neighbors,

    Last night the harassing teenage boys from earlier this summer have returned. The police were called out, but the boys took off before the police arrived.

    At the last homeowners meeting, a lady spoke about a boy/boys who threw rocks at her windows, the lady recognized one of the boys and contacted the parents to resolve this issue. Would this lady contact me so we can do the same?
